Apparently no one, including the Monticello Motor Club (MMC), can read or understand that the neighbors have never requested the closing of the motor track. We have only requested relief from the horrific noise caused by the cars racing.
The Times Herald Record must have little news to print, because it published an article about the generosity of the Monticello Motor Club twice within two weeks. Being that the MMC is so wealthy and they are running such a profitable business, what is the problem of putting up sound barriers and [requiring] controlled mufflers? Would that not solve all the problems?
Most individuals and businesses donate because it is a worthy cause, not for headlines to receive supporters.
