As a potential Romney voter, I have one question for the governor before I co-Mitt. Why are you, with your vast financial resources — upwards of a quarter of a billion dollars according to some reports — not using that money to create jobs?
You must realize that sequestering your money offshore in Swiss and Grand Cayman Island accounts makes you look like an economic traitor to the United States, especially in light of the fact that you have not invested in an American company in over ten years.
We have startups and innovative technologies in this country waiting for the seed money that will make them flourish and hire American workers. Rather than hearing you mount fusillades of words blaming the current president for not creating jobs, jobs, jobs, I for one would much rather have you and others with the means to do so grow new industries. That’s what your wealth is supposed to be doing according to the conservative philosophy of taxation, which we have been suffering since the Reagan administration, when our debt troubles began.
