We are voting for Glenn Swendsen for the Superintendent of Highways in the Town of Tusten. We have known Glenn for a long time, and throughout that time have found him to be an honest hard-working, down-in-the-trenches type of person. We are convinced that Glenn is the best candidate for the job. He will bring to the position new leadership and will maintain a constant vigil on how our tax dollars are being spent. There will be no spending on projects that are not needed, and we believe that equipment purchases will be more closely monitored.
If equipment needs to be purchased we guarantee you that Glenn will make a decision based on which is most cost efficient for taxpayers. It will have to be absolutely worn out before it goes. If equipment becomes excess, he will make sure that bids that come in are fair or there will be a rebid. Good-old-boy politics will be a thing of the past. Glenn grew up on a farm and knows how to fix things that are broken. We are voting for Glenn. We urge you to vote along with us.
