‘Eddy’ escapes serious harm in ditch dive

NARROWSBURG, NY— Louis “Eddy” Edwards survived an early morning auto accident on Tuesday, July 1, with little more than a scratch on his elbow when the car he was operating left the roadway and came to rest nestled in a ditch along Route 97 near the Narrowsburg Adult Home. The accident occurred just outside an area where crews were trimming trees along roadside powerlines. Edwards appears to the right of the New York State Trooper’s vehicle.
