American Readers Theatre brings Christmas to the Columns

MILFORD, PA — The American Readers Theatre (ART) will present Classic Christmas Stories on Sunday, December 23 at the Columns on Broad Street in Milford. There will be two showings, at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Holiday refreshments will be served and the museum will be open for tours. ART’s Christmas stories, under the direction of Jeffrey Stocker, have been performed recently in New York City at the National Arts Club.

Four stories will be presented. Veteran actor Greg Giblin will begin the evening at the Columns, home of the Pike County Historical Society. with a rendition of “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” and “Twas The Night Before Christmas.” Then he will team up with Giana Cino for “Yes Virginia There Is A Santa Claus” and “Gift Of The Magi”. The show’s cast includes Jeff Foley, Mary Paterson, Meg Palermo, and Port Jervis’s veteran character actress Stacy Case.

Tickets cost $20 for adults and $15 for children under 12 and senior citizens. Seating is limited. For more information call 570/296-8126.
