Culinary event serves up food, music and fireworks

HAWLEY, PA — The Rotary Club of Hawley will hold its third annual “Taste of the Lake Region” event on July 4, rain or shine, with seating beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the air conditioned Wallenpaupack Area High School Café.

Dubbed as the area’s premier summer culinary event, “Taste of the Lake Region,” boasts some of the finest food available from area restaurants, caterers and bakers. Admission is by advance ticket only and concludes in time for the annual fireworks display at the waterfront. Strolling troubadour Bill Frye will entertain guests during dinner.

Selections will include hearty soup, teriyaki salmon, Swedish and sweet and sour meatballs, assorted vegetables and salads, and wide variety of desserts and beverages from Ehrhardt’s Waterfront, Falls Port Inn & Restaurant, Cora’s Bistro, Crazy Fingers, Chef Anthony’s, Pocono Pizza , Mike’s Pizzeria, Capri Restaurant, Cooper Farms, K & K Foods, Rita’s Italian Ice, Lukan’s Farm Resort, Settlers Inn, Trish’s Bagels, Dutch’s Market, the Boat House, Waters End, the Corner Tea House and others.

Tickets cost $20, $10 for children 12 and under. Proceeds will benefit community and service projects of the Hawley Rotary Club throughout the year.
