The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office is investigating a serious personal injury ATV accident that occurred in the Town of Liberty Saturday night. Deputies were called to Breezy Hill Road in Parksville at about 6:45 PM where Curtis Kennedy, 23 of Livingston Manor had run off the road. Kennedy, who was not wearing a helmet, was driving a Suzukui Quad Runner when he collided with the ditch and was sent airborne. He suffered severe head injuries and had to be flown to Westchester Medical Center. The Liberty Fire Department and Mobile Medic assisted at the scene. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
