Napkin dispensers outside The Gravity Ice Cream store on 6th Street in Honesdale were lit on fire sometime between the night of July 4 and early morning of July 5. The dispensers were hanging on the wall outside the store. The fire extinguished itself within the dispensers, without causing damage to the building. The person who lit the fire is not known at this time.

A resident of North Main Street in Honesdale reported, July 5, that a registration sticker was removed from the license plate of their car. The sticker was white with green 2-12 lettering. Honesdale Police are investigation.

Prescription medication was reported stolen from a resident of Riverside Drive July 5. A suspect, Carol used the victim’s restroom while working in the victim’s yard. The victim discovered that prescription medication had been taken from a bottle. The suspect was driving a blue colored Pontiac Sunfire.

Sonia Kramer, 59 and Melissa Mclaughlin, 33, were cited for Harassment and Disorderly Conduct, Wednesday July 6 following a fight they had with each other at 509 Grove Street in Honesdale. Honesdale Borough Police responded to the fight where they found the roommates fighting over a gas grill lid and money. The roommates struck one another and the fight ended in the yard. Neighbors called 911.

Suspicious activity was reported at the Sunrise Market on Sunrise Avenue July 8. Two black males were reported to have gone into the market, one went to the register and asked for cigarettes and the other went to the storage area, which is through the office, an employee said. The suspect in the office told an employee he was making a delivery and the other male had the paperwork. The suspect went with the employee to the register and the other man had already left the store. There was no paperwork and nothing was ever said to be delivered. The men were seen getting into a blue box truck with a refrigerated unit mounted on it. The truck had gray or silver lettering on it, but the wording was not readable.
