Ruth Hendrickson, of Bethel, NY, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Achieve Nursing & Rehab Facility in Liberty, NY. She was 86.

The daughter of the late Willard and Vivian Bloom, she was born on August 23, 1925 in Hillside, NY.

Ruth was a member of the White Lake Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, the Bethel Presbyterian Church and the White Lake Reformed Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas Hendrickson and his wife Lillian of Smallwood and Richard Hendrickson and his wife, Linda of White Lake; sisters Norma Bloom of Waverly, NY and Jean Lundy and husband Robert of Richford, NY; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband, Claude Hendrickson; sisters Florence Weiland and Marie Bloom; brothers Charles Bloom, Bob Bloom and Floyd Bloom; and grandchildren Lillian “Poochie” Berger and Michael Hendrickson.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 25 at the White Lake Reformed Presbyterian Church, Rt. White Lake, with Rev. David Coon officiating. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery, Bethel, NY.
