Rose Davanzo, of Jeffersonville, NY, a former nursing assistant, died Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Sullivan County Adult Care Center, Liberty, NY. She was 102.

The daughter of James and Anna George Adams, she was born on February 10, 1909 in Queens, NY. She was married to the late John Davanzo.

Survivors include two daughters, Anna Marie McGrath and her husband, Richard of Jeffersonville, and Gilda Loughran and her husband, Joseph of Milford, PA; one son, Robert Davanzo and his wife, Ronnie of Rego Park, NY; her daughter-in-law, Peggy Davanzo of Melbourne Beach, FL; one brother, August Adams of Callicoon Center, NY; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one nephew, James Adams, and one niece, Rose Ann Licitra. She was predeceased by her husband, John Davanzo, and by her son, Nicholas Davanzo.

A memorial mass will be held at a later date and time, to be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
