Patricia F. Roeckell of Matamoras, PA passed away Saturday January 21, 2012 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. She was 70.

She was born on May 26, 1941 in Manhattan, the daughter of the late Raymond T. and Rosemary O’Dwyer Murray.

Patricia was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church and a retired teacher for Trinity Catholic School at St. Mary’s, and former owner of Kids Kampus Pre-School in Matamoras. She was a member of the American Cancer Society, Boys Town, USA and the Multiple Sclerosis Assoc.

Patricia married Nicholas C. Roeckell, who survives at home. She is also survived by daughters Patricia Snyder of Ellenville, NY and Maryrose Roeckell and fiancé Jason Donadio of Glen Spey, NY; son Nicholas Roeckell and wife Aracely of Mt. Kisco, NY; sisters Rosemary Smith and Teresa Murray, both of Port Jervis; brothers Raymond Murray of Upper Montclair, NJ and Walter Murray of East Sandwich, MA; grandchildren Elizabeth and Nicole; and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brother John Murray.

A celebration of her life was held Tuesday evening, January 24. Cremation took place at HG Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. Contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Assoc. of America, 706 Haddonfield, Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
