Emory A. Rolston of Beach Lake, PA, a lifelong resident of the area and retired truck driver for Narrowsburg Lumber, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Wayne Woodland Manor, Waymart, PA. He was 90.

The son of the late Arthur and Edna (Brucher) Rolston, he was born August 17, 1921 in Milanville, PA.

Emory was a member of the Milanville Methodist Church and served in the Army. A family statement reads in part: “Emory was a loving family man. To know Dad was to love Dad. He took wonderful care of his family. He will be missed and lovingly remembered.”

He leaves behind sons Duane and wife Debra and Stanley and wife Karen of Beach Lake, PA; daughter Patricia Clemo and husband Raymond of Waymart; brother Leonard and wife Avis Rolston of Interlachen, FL; grandchildren Jeremy and wife Rebecca, Nicole Stevens and husband Matthew, Mandy Clemo and Ryan Clemo; step grandchildren Melissa Spearing, Nicole Garced and husband Adam and Courtney Althouse; seven great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Mildred (Lassley); and twin sister Eleanor Buckley.

Funeral services were held on Monday January 30, 2012 at the Damascus United Methodist Church, Damascus PA. The Rev. Jean Blackie officated.

Burial took place in Hillside Cemetery, Damascus, PA.
