DAVID D. BOYCE

David D. Boyce passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 with his wife Cathy at his side. He was 72.

David was born in Warwick, NY to Earl and Wilhelmina Boyce, and later moved to Old Westbury, Long Island. David also lived in Wayne County, PA for more than 40 years, spending the majority of that time on the Delaware River. He was a skilled machinist, clock maker and gunsmith.

A family statement says,”David was a man of the earth who loved fishing, music, nature, reading, his home and riding his lawn tractor down to the river with his dogs. We will deeply miss him.”

He is survived by his wife; sons David L. and Charles E. Boyce; daughters-in-law Desiree and Nisha; grandchildren Danielle, Erin, Paige, Rhett, Sam, Layla and Roshen; siblings Francie Brown, Noel Cacchio, Mike Garvan and Kim Snyder; step-daughter Batsheva Greenstein and husband Joseph Mensching and their daughters Samantha and Sophia; extended friends and family; and dogs Molly and Percy.

He is predeceased by his sister Lanie Collins.
