Joseph Edward Hensz of Monticello, NY, formerly of Narrowsburg, NY, passed away on December 29, 2011 at Achieve Rehab. and Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY. He was 57.

He was born in Port Jervis, NY.

Joseph lived in Narrowsburg during his first 12 years, before moving to Titusville, FL with his family. He loved the country and liked to fish with his father. He was a gentle soul with a kind heart. He was a carpenter by trade and had his own cabinet business in Titusville, FL.

He is survived by a son, Jason Hensz of Largo, FL; sisters Kathleen Suchinski and husband Henry of Burlington CT, Susan Tabor of Maryville, TN, Theresa Wilson of Titusville, Lu-Anne Hensz of Cocoa, FL, Veronica Sluder and husband Basil of Mountain City, TN; brother Timothy Hensz and wife Vicki of Green Cove Springs, FL; two aunts and uncles; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is predeceased by his mother and father, Meta E. Lass and Louis A, Hensz.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at St. Francis Cemetery, Narrowsburg, NY.
