MILFORD, PA — The Pike County Bar Association (PCBA) sponsored the Center for Developmental Disabilities’ (CDD) annual Christmas party on December 13. Santa Claus delivered over 145 Christmas presents donated by the PCBA. PCBA President Elizabeth A. Erickson Kameen, Esq. praised the bar association and its members for their continuing generosity in the community.

“The generosity of our members when it comes to giving to the community is truly heartwarming,” said Kameen. “PCBA member Tony Waldron, along with his wife, Debby Waldron, donated countless hours by personally shopping for the many great gifts and then making numerous trips to transport all the gifts to CDD for the children.”

The gifts were purchased with funds from the PCBA. The PCBA has participated in the CDD gift giving program for many years under a program originally started and sponsored by the late Milford attorney and humanitarian, Jack Linshaw (a past PCBA president). The Waldrons took over the tradition and have continued to purchase bar sponsored gifts for CDD through the Pike County Bar Association for the last 18 years.
