Quilt raffle benefits Habitat for Humanity

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — Sullivan County Habitat for Humanity recently participated in the SUNY Sullivan 41st annual Holiday Arts & Craft Fair. Pictured is Sullivan West Honor Society student Isabella Kent, who volunteered to help distribute brochures about Habitat for Humanity and sold raffle tickets for a king-size quilt named “Trip around the World.” The donated masterpiece was created by Sally Abrams (Calico Geese) and professionally machine stitched by Lori Nixon, (Northern Star). Habitat’s next house will be in Fallsburg. Call 845/791-8305.
