On Thursday April 28, 2016 State Police at Liberty arrested Michael Fedderman, age 43 of Liberty, NY after an investigation into injuries sustained by two elderly persons. The injuries were sustained on different occasions over the course of the past several months, and at least one assault involved a dangerous instrument. Additionally, during the investigation it was learned that Fedderman had endangered the welfare of a developmentally disabled man.
Fedderman was charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Vulnerable Elderly Person 1st Degree, Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disable Person 1st Degree, felonies and Assault 3rd Degree, a misdemeanor. He was arraigned in the Town of Liberty Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $40,000 cash bail. Additional charges are anticipated.
