The New York State Police at SP Wurtsboro announce the arrest of Salvatore J. Lomonico-Jones, age 31, of Wurtsboro NY for burglary 2nd and grand larceny 4th, both felonies.
The arrest was the result of an investigation into a residential burglary on Doll Rd in Bloomingburg NY that occurred in July wherein a laptop computer and jewelry were reported stolen. The state police were able to locate records from a local pawn shop indicating that Lomonico-Jones had possessed and sold the property reported stolen during the burglary.
Lomonico-Jones was arrested and arraigned before Town of Mamakating Town Justice Cynthia Dolan and committed to the Sullivan County Jail on $50,000.00 bail. Lomonico-Jones is scheduled to return to the Town of Mamakating Court on September 13, 2015 at 9:30am.
