Man arrested in Ellenville for stealing credit card

The New York State Police at Ellenville arrested Daniel T Houck, 27 years old from Elmira, for Forgery 2nd, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th and Falsifying Business Records 1st, all Felonys.

On March 10, 2014, the State Police at SP Ellenville initiated a investigation into the theft of a credit card. Further investigation revealed that Houck had been shoveling the driveway of an elderly woman and while at the residence he stole her credit card. Houck then used the stolen credit card fraudulently at Rite Aid in Ellenville.

Daniel T. Houck was arraigned in the Village of Ellenville Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail with no bail. Houck is to return in the Village of Ellenville Court on November 19, 2014, at 5:00 PM.
