State Police at SP Liberty announce the arrest of Matthew Coney, 21, of Woodbourne, NY for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

On 07/24/14 at approximately 5:40 PM State Police observed a vehicle in violation of the vehicle and traffic law and initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle on Hasbrouck Road in the Town of Fallsburg. When Coney exited the vehicle, he admitted to having a marijuana smoking device. During a subsequent search of Coney, State Police located a plastic tube with cocaine residue. Coney was placed under arrest and was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Fallsburg Court on 7/30/14 at 7:00 P.M.
