Ellenvill woman arrested for forged presriptions

On Thursday April 3, 2014, the New York State Police at Kingston arrested Billiejo Sheley, age 40, of Ellenville, NY, for the felony of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree and the misdemeanor of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Sheley was arrested subsequent to a vehicle and traffic stop on State Route 28 in the Town of Ulster. During the traffic stop, Sheley was found to be in possession of four forged prescriptions. Sheley obtained the prescriptions by providing a false name to prescribers in an effort to fraudulently obtain prescription narcotics. Sheley was arraigned in the Town of Ulster Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secure bond.
