Monticello Police arrested Sharon Accarino (49) of Monticello on Tuesday 3/4/14. Accarino was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 1st degree and misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.

At 3:50 PM Tuesday Monticello PO Harry Mota observed Accarino operating a 2013 Lincoln MKS on Jefferson Street in the village of Monticello. PO Mota was aware that Accarino’s driver license was currently revoked and stopped her.

In addition to driving with a revoked driver license, Accarino was also charged with driving while intoxicated. A chemical test administered at the Monticello police station showed that Accarino’s BAC level was .08%.

Accarino was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 1st degree because her NYS driver license was currently revoked as of 9/24/13 for refusing to submit to a chemical test and she was operating her vehicle while intoxicated at the time she was arrested on Tuesday.

Accarino was arraigned before Town of Thompson justice Martin Miller and remanded to the Sullivan county jail without bail pending further court action. Accarino is also currently on probation in Sullivan County until 2015 for a prior conviction for petit larceny.
