New York State Police at Wurtsboro, N. Y. announce the arrest of Matthew MacIsaac,31 years old, of Shawanga Lodge Road, Bloomingburg, NY , for Criminal Contempt 1st (felony), Criminal Contempt 2nd, Assault 3rd, Menacing 3rd, Criminal Mischief 4th (misdemeanors) and two counts of Harassment 2nd ( violation).

On February 22, 2014 at approximately 5:45pm Troopers from the Wurtsboro Barracks responded to a domestic dispute on Shawanga Lodge Road, Bloomingburg. Investigation at the scene revealed that MacISAAC has assaulted his mother and his girlfriend, and then fled the scene into a wooded area, prior to the arrival of responding Troopers. A search for MacISAAC was initiated with State Police K-9 patrols, resulting in MacISAAC being taken in to custody.

MacISAAC was charged as indicated above, then arraigned in front of Town of Mamakating Justice Joel Welsh who remanded him to the Sullivan county jail without bail pending further court action.
