Napanoch contractor arrested for stealing pipes

The New York State Police at Ellenville announce the arrest of David J. Miller, age 41, of Napanoch, NY for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a Felony.

On June 18, 2013 State Police at Ellenville responded to a reported burglary in Spring Glen, NY where pipes and a heating system were removed from a seasonal residence. After an extensive investigation, State Police learned that David Miller was hired as a contractor to renovate the residence. He ultimately removed the heating system for scrap metal.

Miller, who is presently incarcerated in Sullivan County Jail on unrelated charges, was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny in the Forth Degree. He will be arraigned at a later date.
