Teens arrested for stealing snowmobile

On 12/30/13, the New York State Police at Catskill and the Town of Hunter Police Department arrested CAMERON J. PARQUEZ, age 16, of Tannersville, NY and MICHAEL W. MARTIN, age 18, also of Tannersville, NY, on charges of Burglary in the Third Degree, a class D Felony and Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a class E Felony.

PARQUEZ and MARTIN were arrested as the result of an investigation into the theft of a snowmobile that occurred in the Village of Tannersville on December 27, 2013. After implicating PARQUEZ and MARTIN in the theft, it was discovered that they also were involved in a burglary to The Cortina Valley Lodge that had occurred earlier in December.

PARQUEZ and MARTIN were arraigned in the Town of Hunter Town Court before Hon. William M. Simon, who remanded the defendants to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1000 bond.
