Monticello man arrested for identity theft and forgery

The NEW YORK STATE POLICE at Wurtsboro, NY, announce the arrest of Nathaniel Gilmore, 52 years of age, from Monticello, NY, for Identity Theft in the second degree (Felony) and Forgery in the third degree (Misdemeanor).

During the month of July 2013, Gilmore falsely used the identity of a Sales Representative from a local produce supply warehouse in order to obtain credit to procure a shipment of produce for his personal business venture. The total amount of produce criminally obtained by using this false information exceeded $3,200.00.

Gilmore was released on his own recognizance and is due to reappear in the Town of Thompson Court on December 2, 2013.
