Monticello Police arrested Eulogio Pinto (45) of Monticello on Friday 10/11/13. Pinto was charged with felonies for assault in the 2nd degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree.

At 8:00 PM Friday Monticello Police responded to a reported domestic dispute at 41 High Street in the Village of Monticello. Responding officers found a 44-year-old female with a laceration to her head at the scene.

The victim had been struck in the head with a beer bottle intentionally thrown at her by Pinto. Pinto was arraigned before Village of Monticello justice Josephine Finn and remanded to the Sullivan county jail without bail pending further court action.
