Honesdale Borough Police are investigating a hit and run, which occurred on Tuesday 08/20/13, between the hours of 12:00pm and 1:00pm, in front of the post office on Main St.

The victim was attempting to get into her gold GMC Jimmy when a white van struck the driver’s side door. The white van had New Jersey plates with a “09” sticker on the plate. After striking the GMC Jimmy, a person inside the van yelled obscenities at the victim.

The van never stopped, and continued traveling southbound on Main St. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Honesdale Borough Police at 570-253-1900.
