On 04/29/13, The New York State Police at Catskill reports the arrest of KENYETTA D. BEVERLY, age 37, from Cairo, NY, for the charges of Burglary 1st Degree, a class B Felony, Robbery 3rd Degree, a class D Felony and Menacing 2nd Degree, a class A Misdemeanor.

BEVERLY was arrested after an investigation into an assault in the Town of Cairo. Investigations showed that BEVERLY had gained access to his ex-girlfriend’s private residence and physically assaulted her while she was sleeping and menaced her with a knife. BEVERLY then stole her cell phone and personal property to prevent her from calling the police.

BEVERLY was arraigned in the Town of Cairo Town Court before Hon. Lee Miller, who remanded the defendant to Greene County Jail without bail. BEVERLY is scheduled to re-appear on 04/30/13 at 7:00 pm. in the Town of Cairo Town Court.
