On March 12, 2013, the New York State Police announce the arrest of CRYSTAL GARCIA, age 25, of Middletown, NY, for the felony charges of Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree.

Garcia was arrested and charged by the State Police after she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic violation on State Route 211 in the Town of Wallkill. Investigation by the Troopers led to the discovery of 7 grams of heroin inside the Jeep Cherokee she was operating. The approximate street value of the heroin is $3,000.00.

Garcia was arraigned in Town of Wallkill Justice Court and committed to Orange County Jail without bail.
