On August 27th, 2012 Honesdale Borough Police officers investigated a theft of a wallet containing $900.00 in cash, ID and various credit cards.
The victim reported to investigating officers that he had mistakenly left his wallet on the check-out counter at Turkey Hill Market the prior evening. When the victim returned to the store he discovered that the wallet was missing.
A review of the stores video surveillance system revealed that a customer took the wallet from the counter shortly after the victim had left it there.
On August 31st , 2012 investigating officers located and identified the suspect as Eric Stanley JUSKEY 24 years of age of Honesdale.
On September 4th, 2012 a charge of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition, graded as a Misdemeanor of the 1st degree, was filed against JUSKEY at The Wayne County Courthouse.
