Arrested for 100 Oxycodone pills on Route 17

On Sunday April 8, 2012 at approximately 11:15 PM, a deputy from the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office was on patrol in Rock Hill when he observed a suspicious vehicle the vicinity of the Billy Stop gas station on Wolf Lake Road.

The Billy Stop which is adjacent to State Route-17 exit 111, was closed for business at the time. A second vehicle approached the scene and parked next to the first vehicle. The deputy went over to inquire why the vehicles were parked at the closed business and immediately could smell the strong odor of marijuana. Both subject were detained and a state police K-9 unit was called to the scene.

The subsequent investigation revealed that the subjects were involved in a drug transaction. 100 Oxycodone pills were recovered at the scene. The Sheriff's Office has charged Daven Gee-Eastmond, 25, of Teaneck, NJ with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, a class B Felony and unlawful possession of marijuana.

The other suspect, Lorenzo Santos, 22, resides at 28 Chelsea Lane in the Emerald Green subdivision in Rock Hill. He was charged with Criminal Possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, also a class B Felony. Both men were arraigned before acting Village Justice Leo Glass and sent to the Sullivan County jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. The are to appear before Town of Thompson Judge Martin Miller on April 16, 2012 at 5:00 PM.
