The Honesdale Borough Police are seeking information in finding the assailant that entered a woman’s apartment on Main Street and assaulted her. This incident occurred on March 30th at approximately 10:30 p.m.

During this time an unknown person entered an apartment located above the Limerick Bar on Main Street and assaulted the female victim while she was sleeping. When the woman awoke the assailant fled. Some of the victim’s belongings were also reported stolen from the apartment.

The victim reported minor injuries. There was no forced entry observed to the apartment. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Honesdale Borough Police at (570) 253-1900. Investigating officer is Ptlm. Colombo.
