On 02/25/2012, at approx. 5:00 p.m., the Honesdale Borough Police responded to Ridge Street for a vehicle that struck another vehicle and some shrubs before fleeing the scene.
According to Borough Police, a vehicle driven by Ronald Perri, 44 from Carbondale, was attempting to turn right into a driveway on Ridge Street. While making his turn, a vehicle driven by Brandon Biglin, 19 from Honesdale, tried to pass on the right of Perri’s vehicle and struck Perri’s vehicle. After striking the vehicle, Biglin’s vehicle also struck some shrubs at a residence on Ridge Street. Biglin then fled the scene, but turned himself into Borough Police 30 minutes after the crash.
Biglin will be charged with Accidents involving damage to attended vehicle, Driving with a suspended license and Overtaking a vehicle on the right. Charges will be filed at the Wayne County Courthouse. A Central Court appearance is forthcoming.
