Rock Hill resident busted for marijuana grow-house

The NEW YORK STATE POLICE at Wurtsboro, N. Y. announce the arrest of Brent J. Davis, age 45 of Hazelhurst Ave., Glen Rock, N. J. and Renner Rd., Rock Hill, N. Y., and Louis Raible, 50 years old, of Lafayette Pl., Englewood, N. J. for Criminal Possession of Marihuana 2nd degree (Felony) ,Unlawfully Growing Cannabis (Misdemeanor) and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana (Violation).

On October 31, 2011 the New York State Police at Wurtsboro executed a search warrant at the Davis residence located on Renner Rd., Rock Hill, Sullivan County, N. Y. and discovered a massive marihuana cultivation operation located in the basement of the residence. The investigation revealed that the cultivated marihuana had been recently harvested, with less than 10 pounds of high grade marihuana recovered at the residence.

The growing operation consisted of hydroponic growing beds , sophisticated high powered lighting , heating and cooling equipment. The operation had a growing potential of over 200 high grade marihuana plants with a street value of $3000.00 per pound every three months.

On November 1, 2011 both Davis and Raible were arraigned in front of Town of Fallsburg Town Justice Ivan Kalter, and both were remanded to the Sullivan County jail in lieu of No Bail pending future court action.
