An observant Trooper out of SP Wurtsboro made an arrest as a result of a traffic stop on State Rte 209 on August 16. Justin A. Santaniello, age 26 of Huguenot, NY was driving a Honda Ridgeline on State Rte 209 with a cracked windshield. He was found to have a suspended driver license.

While conducting a search of the vehicle a leather bag was found that had personal effects of another person. The owner of the bag was contacted and stated he had reported the bag stolen to the city of Middletown PD in December, 2009. Mr. Santaniello was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th degree. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Mamakating court on 09/08/11.
