A Trooper out of SP Liberty conducted a traffic stop of a 2004 Toyota Camry on State Rte 42 in Monticello, NY on August 15. The driver, Luciano Cruz, age 24 of Palm Bay, Florida and also of Monticello, NY was found to have a suspended driver license.

It was also discovered that he possessed 29 grams of marijuana in the vehicle. Mr. Cruz was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd. He was arraigned before T/Thompson T/J Melzter and released on $350 bail.
