As Dougher began to turn, a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe, being operated by 20 year old Matthew Hafler of Honesdale, impacted the rear of Dougher’s vehicle. Hafler stated he took his eyes off the road, and when he looked back in front of him, he was unable to avoid Dougher’s vehicle.

Neither driver was injured in the crash. Hafler’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Northeast Towing. Dougher was able to drive his vehicle from the scene.
