The New York State Police held a DWI Checkpoint on Roosa Gap Road (County Route 61) in the town of Mamakating, Sullivan County on June 17. During this road check four people were charged:

Margaret A. Regalia, age 51 of Bloomingburg, NY was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

Daniel T. Carlock, age 29 of Pine Bush, NY was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (esctasy).

James Desjardins, age 35 of Bloomingburg, NY was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.

Derrick E. Goodfriend, age 26 of Bullville, NY was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

All were issued appearance tickets returnable to the town of Mamakating court on June 23, 2011 to answer their charges.
