MILANVILLE, PA — The Wayne/Pike Farm Bureau will sponsor a Legislative Day/County Picnic at Wayne County Commissioner Brian Smith’s farm on Thursday, August 6 at 10:30 a.m. Commissioner Smith will provide a tour of his new facility, built after his barn fire in 2014.

Local legislative representatives will be on hand to answer questions about pending legislation and address the concerns of those in attendance. After lunch, Emily Montgomery will offer a tour of Calkins Creamery, where she will talk about her adventures in cheese-making.
