The Town of Cochecton was well attended Thursday night at the Sullivan County Conservative fundraiser dinner. Supervisor Gary Maas, Highway Superintendent Kevin Esselman, town board members Ed Grund and Anna Story, Sullivan County DA Jim Farrell, Tony Leone and myself Eileen Hennessy Tax Collector. I always donate a crochet blanket to the fundraiser as a door prize. This year Tommy helped me make the blanket that I gave them. In his hospital bed he would pull the yarn and I would crochet it into a blanket. When president of the Conservative party Steve Burke was ready to pull the winner, he said such very nice words about Tommy: how Tommy was his friend, a Mets fan, a supporter of the Conservative Party. Steve pulls the winner, Debra Gabriel, during dinner. It was bugging me, I wanted Steve to get that blanket. So I was kind of very rude and asked Debra for the blanket back so I could give it to Steve. Debra was great about it, she understood; and I am making her a new blanket.

I spent my Memorial Day Weekend camping with my goddaughter Angel and her family; had a great time. It was funny sitting back and watching them all drink and being crazy, remembering the good old days.
