NARROWSBURG, NY — The Upper Delaware Council (UDC) has announced the recipients of its annual awards, to be honored at a dinner on April 26 at Central House Family Resort in Beach Lake, PA. Recipients are:

Distinguished Service Award ~ Glenn H. Voss of Beach Lake, PA

Chief Ranger, 1984-1999, National Park Service Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River (retired)

Robin M. Daniels Memorial Lifesaving Award ~ Eric J. Mankowski of Bethlehem, PA

The July 26, 2014 rescue of a drowning swimmer near Staircase Rapids

Partnership Award ~ The Weather Project

NACL Theatre, Sullivan Alliance for Sustainable Development and the Town of Highland

Outstanding Community Achievement Award ~ Damascus Township, PA

Execution of a dirt and gravel project on River Road to improve storm water run-off conditions

Community Service Award ~ Tusten Energy Committee
