BEACH LAKE, PA — At 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, July 20 the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will sponsor a presentation by Mort Malkin and Christine San Jose titled “Our Genetic Heritage: Are We Wired for Violence or Cooperation?” They will make the case for cooperation and caring, based on human history from 50,000 BCE until now, including the story of Hatshepsut, the peaceful female pharaoh, and a reading of Edheduanna’s anti-war poem, “Lament to the Spirit of War.” Following the service at the Berlin Township Community Center, there will be social time and refreshments.
