MONTICELLO, NY — Diane Hartman’s third grade class, from Monticello’s G.L. Cooke Elementary School has been reading “Peter Pan” and other stories involving the imagination. They recently read the book “Not-A-Box” by Antoinette Portis. This book is about a little boy that takes a cardboard box and imagines it to be something different. So each student took a plain, cardboard box and used their imagination to make it something different. The students really enjoyed using their imagination to make their own cardboard creation.
