HONESDALE, PA — Join the Wayne County Area Agency on Aging on every second Tuesday, starting June 10, at each of the three Wayne County Senior Centers. They are starting a color of the month day, starting with the color red for June. When red is present in food, it often denotes ripeness or sweetness, as well as the presence of lycopenes, quercetin, and Vitamin C. Red as a decorating color makes diners feel hurried, but grabs attention for advertising.
Wear red and enjoy foods that are red at the senior centers for lunch for a donation of $2. Visit aging.co.wayne.pa.us or call 570/253-4262.
