On April 29 will be “Grant Writing I.” This introductory course focuses on the concepts and skills that writers need to develop in order to write a persuasive and successful grant application.

On May 6 will be “Advanced Grant Writing (Grant Writing II).” This focuses on advanced grant writing concepts and skills, including grant seeking using the Internet, needs statements, goals and objectives, the evaluation process, and project timelines. Students will develop a concept paper outlining a project they would like to have funded.
