HONESDALE, PA — Transition Honesdale, a Wayne County based organization that promotes sustainable living, community building and sharing of skills, will offer an opportunity to develop some new cooking skills.

The skill share will be taught by Jamie Stunkard at his health food store, Nature’s Grace, 947 Main St. in Honesdale on Tuesday, March 4 at 6 p.m. Spice up your winter menu, find ways of preparing those exotic and unfamiliar-looking vegetables you find at the winter farmers’ market, and create interesting and tasty dishes. Join Stunkard for a workshop titled “Creative Cooking with Winter Veggies.” Pre-register by February 26 at 570/253-3469. The class is limited to 15 people, and there is a suggested donation of $5.
