LIBERTY, NY — Melinda Meddaugh recently accepted the position of Sullivan County Agriculture & Natural Resources Leader, a shared position between Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County and the Sullivan County Government. Meddaugh is a long-time resident of Sullivan County.
Meddaugh received her Bachelor’s Degree in anthropology and sociology from SUNY Purchase and a Master’s Degree in environmental law and policy from Vermont Law School. She also has an Associate’s Degree from Sullivan County Community College in computer graphics.
Since 2008, she worked as the land protection coordinator for the Delaware Highlands Conservancy. In this capacity she worked with landowners on conservation options for their property, farmland protection plans, the Trailkeeper.org project and more.
