LIBERTY, NY — Sullivan County BOCES and Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) are partnering to build a learning lab greenhouse at the CCE campus on Ferndale-Loomis Road. It will provide both partners with a teaching greenhouse for a variety of programs like the Master Gardeners, nutrition programs and natural resources program. The greenhouse will also be used to store Sullivan Renaissance’s starter plants, trees and shrubs until they can be planted outdoors.

The Natural Resources and Construction and Electrical Technology programs at BOCES are assisting in the site preparation and creation of the greenhouse.

Contact Cornell Cooperative Extension at 845/292-2154 or Sullivan BOCES at 845/295-4000 for information.
