PORT JERVIS, NY — A month of workshops on a variety of subjects will be presented at The Hub at the Port Jervis Free Library. All programs are free and require pre-registration in person, or by calling 845/772-7586, or by email at thehub@portjervislibrary.org.

Fred Harding, who has just returned from a 15-day business trip from China, presents “China Today: A Red Star Rising or...” on January 22, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and again on January 23 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in he Community Room. Is China what you see on the Internet or news? What is the real story of their economy? These questions and more will be answered.

On January 27, Ken Herbig presents “Photography: what to do with all those holiday photos” from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Learn the basics of digital photography, how to download your photos to your computer, how to resize them, attach them to an email, how to organize them and more.

On January 30, Ted Petrides presents “Financial Workshop” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This program will cover how to blend multiple financial products (savings accounts, money market accounts, mutual funds, stocks, debt management, 401Ks, IRAs, SEPs, annuities, and more) to take charge of your financial future.
